Maoists: Eight Maoists killed in a police encounter in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli. Nagpur News – Times of India

Nagpur: C-60 commandos of Gadchiroli police killed more than eight Maoists During the ongoing encounter in Kotgul-Gyarapatti forest in the early hours of Saturday.
Sources said about a dozen rebel guerrilla fighters were injured during the fighting.
SP Ankit Goyal Said that the exchange of fire had started at 6.30 am.
“The jawans have been firing intermittently in the dense forest for the past few hours. We can confirm the number of Maoists killed only after the encounter,” Goyal said.
Police sources said that the commandos have already recovered some arms and arms and other material of the Maoists from the encounter site.
Commandos are still searching the place.
It is being told that the Maoists are trying to run away with the bodies of their slain workers.
