Born and brought up in a remote village in the Kaimur district of Bihar, Manoj Tiwari has made a name for himself as a singer and actor in the Bhojpuri film industry. A self-made man, Tiwari rose to fame with several Bhojpuri hit songs including Rinkiya Ke Papa, and International Litti Chokha. However, he became a politician later in his career and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. She also participated in the fourth season of the controversial reality show Bigg Boss on Colors TV.

Manoj Tiwari appeared as a contestant in Bigg Boss Season 4 in 2010. This season, there were many other celebrities like Vikas, Shweta Tiwari, famous wrestler great Khali aka Dalip Singh Rana and Dolly Bindra. This season was one of the most controversial seasons in the history of the show due to several fights between the contestants, but the one that is remembered the most was between Dolly Bindra and Manoj Tiwari.
In one episode, where Dolly Bindra had prepared breakfast for the members of the Bigg Boss house, Manoj Tiwari insisted on having an omelet. Hearing this, Dolly got irritated and started shouting at him. Replying to Dolly, Manoj said that ‘no one’s father has this kitchen’. Dolly shouted and said, “Don’t go to the father.” This reply of Dolly Bindra has become quite famous since then and is often covered on social media.
Bigg Boss 4 is often remembered by the audience for Dolly Bindra’s regular fight with others and especially with Manoj Tiwari.
Manoj Tiwari made his acting debut with the 2004 Bhojpuri film Sasura Bada Paisawala. The film was a success and since then she has acted in several Bhojpuri hit films.
