Manoj Bajpayee’s father passes away in Delhi

New Delhi: Popular actor Manoj Bajpayee’s father RK Bajpayee passed away this morning (October 3, 2021) at the age of 83. According to sources, the condition of Manoj’s father was very serious for the last few days and he died due to prolonged illness. The “The Family Man” actor had also stopped his shoot a few days back to be with his ailing father in Delhi.

The news of Manoj Bajpayee’s father’s death has been confirmed by ‘She’ director Avinash Das on his Twitter. He shared a picture of Manoj Bajpayee with his father and wrote a heartfelt note. Avinash wrote in Hindi, ‘Manoj Bhaiya’s father is no more. Missing the moments spent with them. I took this picture at Bhitiharwa Ashram. He was a very patient person. Always kept himself away from the success of his son. He was great. Prayers.”

Meanwhile, after his father got admitted to a hospital in Delhi, the ‘Dial 100’ actor reached the capital to be with his family. Reportedly, he was shooting for his upcoming project in Kerala, the shooting of which has been put on hold for some time.

On the professional front, Manoj Bajpayee recently won the Best Actor award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards for his performance in the web series ‘The Family Man 2’. His performance in the series also earned him the award for Best Performance (Male) in a Web Series at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne Awards 2021.

Manoj Bajpayee will next be seen in films like ‘Kurup’ and ‘Dispatch’.
