Manoj Bajpayee tells late father behind his Bollywood journey the ‘only support’

Actor Manoj Bajpayee, who recently lost his father, has thanked all those who paid attention to him and sent him their love during this difficult time. 83-year-old RK Bajpai passed away on Sunday morning. He was getting a lot of criticism in the last few days. Manoj also took to Twitter to reveal how his father RK Bajpayee supported him to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor.

“Thank you all for sending the prayers and love on the sad demise of my father who was the only reason and support for me to venture on such a difficult journey that gave me everything I dreamed of!! Always grateful to all,” he wrote.

After hearing the news of his father’s demise, Manoj has reached Delhi from Kerala where he was shooting for his next project. His father was cremated at Nigam Bodh Ghat in New Delhi at 1.30 pm.

In a recent interview with ANI, Manoj had told how his father inspired him to complete his studies before pursuing his passion for acting. “I came to Delhi from my village in Bihar at the age of 18. I joined Delhi University. It was my father’s dream to complete my graduation. He didn’t want me to drop out.. so I really wanted to be with him. Wanted to fulfill the dream and somehow managed. To complete the course and get a degree,” he had shared.

On the professional front, the actor recently won an award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2021 for his role in the web series ‘The Family Man 2’.
