Mann Ki Baat: BJP plans mega events in each Assembly constituency as PM Modi’s radio programme turns 100

Mann Ki Baat 100th Episode: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio program “Mann Ki Baat” completes its 100th episode on April 30, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is planning to organize events across the country. The BJP will organize 100 programs in each assembly constituency and top party leaders including National President JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will participate in various programs on that day.

To make it special, BJP has allotted constituencies to Union Ministers, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs. MPs have been advised to stay in their constituencies. A senior party functionary told ANI, “The party is looking to organize 100 programs from mandal and booth level in each assembly segment.”

Center will issue Rs 100 coin

Government will release a commemorative coin on the occasion of 100th episode of radio program Mann Ki Baat. The face value of the coin will be Rs.100. According to a Finance Ministry release, “The coin in the denomination of Rs 100 will be minted at the mint for issue under the authority of the Central Government on the 100th occasion only.” episode of Mann Ki Baat.

According to a notification by the Finance Ministry, the coin will be circular, with a diameter of 44 millimeters and 200 serrations. The metal composition of the 35 gram coin will be a quaternary alloy, consisting of silver 50%, copper 40%, nickel 5% and zinc 5%.

Unique campaign of All India Radio

PM Modi’s radio broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will complete its 100th edition on April 30 and All India Radio launched a unique campaign on March 15 to focus on the programme’s impact on India’s transformation. An official statement said that sound bytes of the Prime Minister related to each episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will be broadcast in all bulletins and other programs of the All India Radio network.

The campaign went on-air on 15 March and will end on 29 April, a day before the 100th episode. This prestigious program launched on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami on 3rd October, 2014 has completed 98 editions till date.

The campaign will bring to the fore 100 identified themes highlighted by Prime Minister Modi in the so far episodes of ‘Mann Ki Baat’. The campaign will be carried out by various AIR stations, including 42 Vividh Bharti stations, 25 FM Rainbow channels, 4 FM Gold channels and 159 primary channels in the country. The bytes will be broadcast in all important bulletins in all regions. Citizens can also listen to the program on ‘News on AIR’ app and YouTube channels of All India Radio.

About Mann Ki Baat

‘Mann Ki Baat’ is a monthly address broadcast on All India Radio on the last Sunday of every month, through which Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacts with the countrymen. The show will be broadcast across the entire network of All India Radio and Doordarshan as well as on the All India Radio news website and NewsOnAir mobile app. It will also be telecast live on Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, ‘Akashvani Samachar’, DD Samachar’, PMO and YouTube channels. After the Hindi telecast, All India Radio will telecast the program in regional languages.

This program was launched on 3 October 2014 on the occasion of Vijayadashami. Prime Minister’s unique and direct interaction with citizens through radio, Mann Ki Baat has completed 98 episodes so far. It has been the origin, medium and promoter of social changes like Swachh Bharat, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Water Conservation, Vocal for Local etc.

The program has shown tremendous impact on industries like Khadi, Indian toy industry, startups in health, AYUSH, space etc. With its innovative and unique interactive style of presentation, the program has carved a niche for itself as a unique paradigm of communication. , said in the statement. ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is a monthly address broadcast on All India Radio on the last Sunday of every month, through which Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacts with the countrymen.
