Man Slits Throat In Live Courtroom In Karnataka High Court

A distressing incident unfolded at the Karnataka High Court when a man attempted suicide by slitting his throat in the presence of Chief Justice Nilay Vipinchandra Anjara. The individual, identified as Srinivas from Mysuru, reportedly entered Court Hall One and handed over a file to the security staff before suddenly drawing a knife from his pocket and inflicting self-harm. The shocking act occurred while the Chief Justice was present, prompting immediate intervention from the security personnel.

Srinivas was swiftly rushed to Bowring Hospital for urgent medical attention. The gravity of the situation raised concerns among court officials and law enforcement authorities. Chief Justice Nilay Vipin Chandra Anjara expressed deep concern about the security protocols within the high court premises. He emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into the incident and instructed the police to gather evidence from the scene and document their findings meticulously.
