Jaipur: A 22-year-old man from Bihar has been arrested for raping a minor girl in Bhiwadi of Alwar district.
Accused Neetu Kumar was arrested for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 13-year-old girl last month, they said.
The arrests were made from Chhapra district, Bhiwadi Superintendent of Police Ramamurthy Joshi said.
According to the statement issued by the police, the victim’s father had filed a report against Neetu Kumar at the Mahila Police Station on November 20 and accused him of abducting and raping the daughter.
The victim’s family is also originally from Bihar.
On Thursday, a special team of police took the accused into custody from a police station in Amnaur area of Bihar. Police said he was arrested after interrogation.
