Man kills wife on employer’s terrace in Kolkata, attempts suicide Kolkata News – Times of India

Kolkata: A 35-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband on the terrace of her employer’s residence, where she was working for the past 16 months.
The accused was surrounded by the locals before trying to slit his own throat to kill himself.
The incident is being told of E-block of Ramgarh area under Netaji Nagar police station at around 1.30 pm on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Sameeran Bibi. The condition of her husband Sabir Malik (38) is stated to be critical at CNMC Hospital.
DC (SSD) Rashid Munir Khan said, “We are investigating all possible reasons behind the murder and suicide attempt.”
