Rajkot: Two people have been arrested for killing a person in Surendranagar village on Wednesday. The police arrested Haresh Darwadia (19) and Mahesh Orkhia (22) for killing Umesh Garambhadia with a sharp weapon on Tuesday morning.
According to the police, the attack on Garambhadiya was a result of him harassing Haresh’s cousin. When the victim’s father Haka went to wake her up in the morning, he stabbed Umesh in his throat and chest with a knife. The family was sleeping in their farmhouse in Gangajaliya village in Sayla taluka where they were all engaged in contract based farming.
During investigation, the police came to know that The accused couple was looking for Umesh on Monday night despite warnings to stay away from sisterUmesh continued to harass her. Angered by this, Haresh decides to teach Umesh a lesson and attacks him after learning that he is sleeping in the farmhouse.
