Thane: A 27-year-old man was duped of Rs 4 lakh due to online fraud going on on social networking sites on the pretext of investing in a charitable trust. The accused asked the victim to put Rs 4 lakh in Rs 2000 and Rs 500 notes. The police said that in return the victim would be given a commission of 15% against the investment. The complainant took a loan of Rs.4 lakh from a bank. The victim realized that he had been cheated for not getting the promised amount. news network
