In a shocking and bizarre incident, a man climbed a high-voltage electric tower in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida on Sunday.
The incident took place at Noida’s Sector 113 where the man, who was said to be in an inebriated condition, climbed a high-tension pole and started dancing on top. The incident took place around 1:30 pm, prompting police, fire service team, and power department officials to engage in rescue efforts.
A video of the same is doing rounds the corner among the netizens.
As per the video shared by news agency IANS, the man could be seen standing at the top of the tower and dancing. A huge crowd also gathered near the electric pole located near the metro station under Sector 113 Police station and tried to persuade him to come down.

According to the police, he seems to be mentally disturbed. However, if he was drunk is yet to be ascertained.
