Man Attempts To Intervene In Delhi Metro Fight, Gets Slapped

In the past two decades, the Delhi Metro has established itself as an essential mode of transportation in the city, known for its convenience. Recently, however, it has gained attention for strange reasons related to unusual and disruptive passenger behavior. Numerous videos showing random fights, public displays of affection, dance performances, and odd fashion choices have appeared online, shocking viewers. The latest video features an altercation involving two to three individuals at the token counter following a disagreement.

The video, posted on Twitter by the account ‘Ghar Ke Kalesh’, begins with two men fighting over a disagreement at the ticket counter. The scuffle quickly escalates into a chaotic brawl involving slapping, shoving, and punching while they were waiting in line for tokens. An individual from a separate line attempted to intervene, but one of the men pulled him into the altercation and slapped him from behind.

The precise reason for the altercation is still unknown, and the location of the metro station has not been identified. However, the video has gone viral on X, amassing over 1 million views and numerous comments.

One user remarked that the video demonstrated why people often refrain from intervening in fights, highlighting the actions of a particular individual as a reason. Another user questioned why an innocent bystander was involved in the altercation when the conflict was initially between just two people.

This isn’t the first instance of a fight on the Delhi Metro going viral online. Last year, another video showed two men exchanging punches inside the metro while other passengers watched, which also gained significant attention.
