National Conference leader Omar Abdullah on Monday said Meghalaya Governor Satya Pal Malik has bitten him and asserted that the people of Jammu and Kashmir can testify to his unreliability. The former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister was reacting to media reports about Malik’s claim of entering into a verbal duel with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over farmers’ protests.
“This man was their crooked man in J&K. Now he bites the hand that fed him. The people of Jammu and Kashmir can attest to Malik’s unreliability.” The latter was “arrogant” and had a fight with him within five minutes when he went to meet the prime minister over the issue of farmers.
