Malayalam actor Jagdish’s wife passes away

P. Rema, wife of well-known actor PV Jagadish Kumar, popularly known as Jagadish, died at their home near Thiruvananthapuram on Friday, the family said. She was 61 years old. The former head of the Department of Forensic Medicine, Thiruvananthapuram Medical College, Rema, had taken voluntary retirement after being diagnosed with a rare neurological disease.

He is survived by the actor and his two doctor daughters.

“Rema has been unwell for some time now and passed away peacefully,” the actor said.

The last rites will be performed here during the day.
