Malaika Arora one of the most popular faces in Bollywood, with a huge fan base and well wishers. The actress and model is a fitness freak, a fashion enthusiast and a visit to her social media profile shows how much she urges her followers to follow and encourage a healthy lifestyle. Recently, while talking to a news portal, Malaika shared her views on inclusivity and body positivity. He also told about the modeling industry.

Speaking to IANS, he said that the Bollywood film industry is intertwined and there is nothing wrong in people choosing it as a viable career option.

Malaika started her modeling career at a very young age, after which she became a VJ and later entered Bollywood. Looking back on her journey, she said, “It was tough at a young age. It was very challenging. I have come without any hope. I thought this was a great opportunity to make some quick pocket money. I never realized that eventually, it would become a career.’

She added, “Since then, it’s a good thing how the industry has changed. That’s what people need to understand. We have these conversations when girls say they want to pursue a career in modeling. And Their parents say, what the fuck are you wasting your time. I want to tell a lot of parents that you don’t think that you can’t make a career in it. It’s a proper full-fledged career. I have made my career out of it and so have many others. It opens up a lot of different opportunities and avenues.”

She also talked about the discrimination faced by models in India because of the color of their skin. He said that the idea that whites are superior is ingrained in people’s psyche and battling with that mentality has been going on for a long time. He also said that growing up in this society has made women believe that fairness is beautiful.

The actress is judging the model hunt show Supermodel of the Year 2 along with Milind Soman and Anusha Dandekar.
