TV actress and lock up contestant Sara Khan’s marriage with Ali Merchant caught everyone’s attention. They tied the knot during their stay in the Bigg Boss 4 house after dating for a long time. However, the divorce took place after two months of marriage. Now, speaking about his separation with Sara, Merchant, who is now a full-fledged DJ, revealed that it was heartbreaking for him, as the actress was his first love and he didn’t know ‘what was right’ And what was wrong.’

Speaking to ETimes, Merchant revealed, “She (Sara) was my first love. I was her first love. I am not someone who pulls someone down.” Also, he revealed that the marriage was ‘completely out of emotion, excitement, and perhaps immaturity since they were so young.’ Sara was 19 and Ali was 23.

Asked if ‘his marriage controversy with Sara Khan affected him so much that he had to take a break from acting?’ The actor revealed, “There was a lot of negativity that kept questioning our marriage. Tell me, who would turn down such a dreamy proposal to marry the one you love on national television? In fact, I would say That we were lucky to have had the opportunity to be the first couple to do this. We were too young. We couldn’t deal with it. I was broke. Ali Merchant recently recalled a meeting where he met his ex-wife but it was not as expected. Describing the incident, he said, “Recently, we met each other at a party. I greeted him. But he made a very strange face. I came back to my manager and left him there. All of a sudden I saw a group of boys nearby. She was trying to scare me. I went to her and said ‘Don’t make any drama. I don’t want to do anything that upsets you’. I definitely Can’t be afraid of them; I perform them live in front of 10K to 20K people.

Meanwhile, after their divorce, Ali Merchant later tied the knot with Ek Aman, but things didn’t work out between them and they too parted ways.
