In a shocking situation, television actress Mahi Vij faced a horrific incident at home when the actress’ drunk cook threatened to stab her with a dagger and abused her and her family. Reportedly, Mahi shared the details about the horrific incident in now-deleted tweets. The actress had also appealed to the Mumbai Police for the safety and security of her daughter Tara. In the now-deleted tweet, Mahi wrote, “Scared for my life and my daughter’s life. Police and Jai caught this cook and now let him out on bail to kill us. He said openly what was shown to the police. I will kill you.”
Actor Jai Bhanushali’s wife Mahi confirmed the entire incident to TOI and revealed that the whole episode happened when they caught her stealing and decided to set her on fire. “It was just three days and we came to know that he was stealing. I waited to inform Jai. When Jai came, he wanted to settle the bill but the cook demanded to pay the whole month When Jai tried to reason, he said ‘200 Bihari lake khad kar dunga’. He got drunk and started abusing us. We went to the police. I don’t care what happens to me, but I was scared for my daughter,” she said.
He continued, “When we went to the police station, he kept calling me. I have all the recordings. Seeing what is happening everywhere, it is very scary. What if he stabs me? What if I do something? If it happens then people will protest later.. What’s the matter then? I am scared for the safety of my family. I have heard that he will be out on bail. What if he actually gets men after coming out of jail. and targets us?”
Mahi Vij married actor Jai Bhanushali in 2011. The couple welcomed their first biological child, a daughter named Tara, in 2019.
