Tamil superstar Vijay is yet to complete the shooting of Beast but his upcoming film Thalapathy 66 with Telugu director Vamshi Paidipally is already creating a buzz. Thalapathy 66 will be Vijay’s first film in Telugu, though the film will be shot in both Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. From the leading lady to the significant cast, fans are excited to see how the film shapes up. Now, rumor has it that Sitara Thalapathy, daughter of Telugu star Mahesh Babu, may make her film debut with 66.
According to reports, Sitara may play the role of Vijay’s daughter in the film, and the makers have even approached Mahesh Babu for her approval. While Sitara is yet to enter the film industry, she is not new to the public glare. Actually, a nine-year-old girl runs a YouTube channel named Aadya and Sitara along with her sister.
The makers of Thalapathy 66 are currently working on the pre-production portion of the film. The shooting is expected to start soon as Vijay is currently shooting for the last leg of Beast.
Apart from Mahesh Babu’s daughter, rumors are also rife that actor Prakash Raj will also be a part of Thalapathy, and will be reuniting with Vijay after almost 12 years. The two were last seen together in the 2009 action flick Villu.
Thalapathy 66 was announced last month in Vijay’s 66th film with a tentative title, which is fondly called Thalapathy by his fans. The film will be directed by Dil Raju. For the leading lady, the makers have shortlisted Kiara Advani, Rashmika Mandanna and Keerthy Suresh. Though there is no official announcement, fans can see one of the three actresses opposite Vijay in Thalapathy 66.
Meanwhile, Vijay’s upcoming film Beast, an action thriller, is slated to release on Pongal 2022 in direct conflict with Ajith’s Valimai.
