Maharashtra Board’s 10th exam will start from March 2 and 12th from February 21

The Maharashtra government has decided to take steps to implement the “copy-free exams” campaign, which includes the closure of photo-copy shops within 50 meters of exam centers, ahead of class 10 and 12 exams.

According to a presentation made by officials at a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, exam centers will be classified according to their ‘sensitivity’, and entry of unauthorized people within 50 meters of the exam center will be banned.

Police presence will be increased around the examination centres.

Maharashtra Board’s 10th exam will start from 2nd March and 12th from 21st February.

Education commissioner has been appointed as the nodal officer and district collector as the coordinating officer for the campaign.

The cabinet also passed the Maharashtra Medical Purchase Authority Bill on Tuesday. Under this, the Governing Board will be headed by the Chief Minister and an IAS officer will be its Chief Executive Officer.
