In Palghar, a worker died after the wall of a factory collapsed due to a boiler explosion in an adjacent unit.

In Maharashtra, a worker was killed when a boiler exploded in an adjacent unit of a factory after the wall of a factory collapsed. The police gave this information on Sunday. An official of Mira-Bhayander Vasai-Virar police control room said that the incident took place in Waliv area of ​​Palghar on Saturday.

A loud explosion in a boiler of an engineering unit caused a stir in the area and the wall of an adjoining factory collapsed, he said.

He said a worker identified as Mahmood Mohammad Khan (18) died on the spot.

Local firefighters and police reached the spot for rescue and relief work. Police said that the body has been sent for postmortem.

He said the Valiv police have registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 304A (death by negligence).
