The provisional merit list for the first round of Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2024 has been released by the State Common Entrance Test (CET) cell. Candidates who applied for admissions through the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2024 can visit the official website medical2024.mahacet.org and check the merit list. As per the counselling schedule, registered candidates will be able to fill choices starting today, August 27 till August 29, while the round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on August 30.
The counselling authorities will release the provisional seat matrix for group A-MBBS and BDS courses today, August 27. The CET cell has also issued a list of candidates who registered for counselling along with the merit list. As many as 59,132 candidates applied for admission to various medical programmes, including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP and B (P and O). Out of these, a total of 55,781 candidates have been found eligible for MBBS and BDS admissions.

Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2024: How to Check Merit List
Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official website at medical2024.mahacet.org to access the merit list.
Step 2: Now, search for and click on the link titled “provisional merit list of registered candidates for MBBS, BDS courses (group A) of NEET UG 2024” on the homepage.
Step 3: Upon clicking, the MBBS and BDS merit list PDF will be displayed on the screen.
Step 4: Press CTRL+F and search for your name or roll number in the list.
Step 5: Save a copy of the provisional merit list PDF for future reference.
The provisional merit list PDF of registered candidates for MBBS/ BDS Courses (Group A) of NEET-UG-2024 includes details such as NEET All India Rank (AIR), NEET roll number, CET cell online form number, name of the candidate, gender, category, NRI status and specified reservation.
