Nagpur: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Regional Center at Nagpur will conduct final year and end semester examination in seven districts MaharashtraIn Vidarbha from August 3, an official said on Wednesday.
at least 2,381 students IGNOU Nagpur Regional Director Dr P Shivswaroop said that Vidarbha will appear in the examination at various centers in the districts of Nagpur, Amravati, Chandrapur, Nanded, Gadchiroli, Wardha and Buldhana.
He said that the hall tickets will be made available online and students who are unable to appear this time can appear for the exam in December. Examination Will be conducted keeping in view the COVID-19 guidelines.
The official said that all arrangements have been made as per the guidelines of social distancing, examination centers will be sanitized, invigilators will be wearing masks and gloves.
Examination centers have also been set up for inmates in interior areas like Gadchiroli and in Nagpur and Amravati central jails. At least 51 inmates will appear for the 227 courses, he said, adding that senior academics would be appointed as supervisors for the examination centres.
