Maharashtra HSC 2 mother of cracks after years gap in studies

Jyoti Lokhande, who is a mother of two, has cleared the Maharashtra HSC Board Exam 2022 announced on June 8. Unfortunately, she lost her husband due to COVID-19, and appeared for the exam this year. He passed it with 51.67 per cent. She had to drop out of school after marriage in 2009, but resumed her education at the insistence of her husband.

Maharashtra education Minister Prof. Varsha Eknath Gaikwad appreciated Jyoti’s achievement. Sharing his story in a tweet, the Minister lauded the efforts of all such students who defied the odds in their path and overcome the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic to clear the HSC exam.

“Like him, many of our students have done well despite the challenges of the pandemic. I salute her determination,” Gaikwad tweeted, sharing Jyoti’s feat.

Despite facing ups and downs in her life, Jyoti is determined to let her pass. Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) HSC Exam. Along with studies, the woman also took care of her children, old mother-in-law and disabled sister-in-law.

Talking to a local Marathi newspaper, Jyoti said that she wants to be an inspiration to her two children. His highest marks came in subjects including Marathi and Accounts. He scored 63 out of 100 marks. Jyoti expressed hope that the HSC results will open the doors for a brighter future.

Maharashtra Board 94.22. The overall pass percentage of Percentage in your HSC or Class 12 results. While the success rate was lower than last year’s record 99.6 per cent pass percentage, it remained higher than the level of pre-pandemic years.

Students will be able to take a printed copy of their mark sheet from their respective colleges from June 17. A total of over 14.85 lakh students, including 8.17 lakh boys and 6.68 lakh girls, appeared for the HSC board exams held from March 4 to April 7 earlier this year.
