Maharashtra government issued guidelines for Diwali, appeals not to burst crackers

Ahead of the festival of Diwali, the Maharashtra government on Wednesday issued guidelines urging people not to burst crackers. Apart from this, the government has issued instructions keeping in mind the air pollution and Kovid-19.

Here are the guidelines.

  1. Instead of bursting crackers, celebrate Diwali by lighting a lamp.
  2. Don’t crowd the market for Diwali shopping and follow Corona rules.

Considering the possible effects of Diwali, most states have banned the use of firecrackers, and urged the public to maintain social distancing.
