Mumbai: Maharashtra The government on Friday announced Rs 1,21,000 for the treating resident doctors COVID-19 Patients in all government and municipal medical colleges as a special incentive for their work during the pandemic.
An order in this regard was issued on Friday.
This comes days after the protest Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) met the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray with regard to their demands.
Thackeray had assured them of special incentives to appreciate their work during the pandemic, but said that it was not technically possible to waive their educational fees, which was the main demand of the doctors.
