Thane: Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Police has seized Hemp Three people have been arrested for possession and possession worth more than eight lakh rupees Maharashtra‘s Thane Cityan official said on Saturday.

On searching the vehicle, the police found that the accused were carrying 35.9 kg of ganja, worth Rs 8.22 lakh, he said.
Police arrested Mohsin Anees Shaikh, Like Younus Siddiqui and auto rickshaw driver Kalim Saleem Shaikh. NashikAn offense under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against them, the official said.
The trio was carrying narcotics for sale and the police is investigating the source of the substance and to whom it was to be sold, it was said.
