Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is recovering “rapidly” after spine surgery and will soon resume work, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said this on Tuesday.
Thackeray (61) underwent spine surgery here HN Reliance Hospital Here on November 12th. The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) had said on Monday that he was undergoing physiotherapy at the hospital.
“The chief minister is recovering fast and he will resume work soon. He is following some instructions of the doctors..the instructions have to be followed,” said Raut. Thackeray, who is also the Shiv Sena president, was admitted to the hospital on November 10 on the advice of doctors after he developed neck pain. Earlier this month, she attended an event wearing a cervical collar.
