KALYAN: A 33-year-old ward boy has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 75-year-old woman patient twice in a week while she was undergoing treatment at private hospital in Dombivli.
Following to the incident, the Ramnagar police have arrested a ward boy Kanadas Vaishnav and probing if he committed similar offenses in past.
The police sources said that the woman was admitted in hospital for some health related issue.
The woman is alleged to have been molested twice between February 16 and 19.
The complainant woman alleged that initially when she went to X-ray room for test, the accused touched her inappropriately on body parts. During time she thought the accused had done mistake but later again when he did the same act, she informed to her daughter.
Sachin Sanbhor, senior police inspector of Ramnagar police station said, “Acting on victim’s complaint, we immediately register FIR and arrested the accused under molestation charges”.
The police are also checking if accused in past too committed similar act with anybody else.
