A four-year-old boy died after a marble slab of a school wall collapsed on him on Saturday in Bhiwandi in Maharashtra’s Thane district, a police official said.
He said the child, identified as Anand Kushwaha, was playing near the school in Taware Compound area at that time.
He was declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital, the official said, adding the child and his family had moved to the area nine weeks ago.
