A total of 1,16,542 students will appear for the Class 10 (SSC) examination of the Maharashtra Board in 332 centers in Thane district, an official said on Thursday.
A total of 1,16,542 students will appear for the Maharashtra Board Class 10 (SSC) examination at 332 centers in Thane district, an official said on Thursday. Thane Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Manuj Jindal said that 1,04,561 students will write their papers for class 12 (HSC) examination at 173 centres.
He said that the SSC exams would be held from March 2 to March 25, while the HSC exams would start from February 21 and continue till March 21.
He said that flying squads would be deployed across the district to keep a check on copying and other examination related malpractices.
The official said that there is no “sensitive” examination center in the district.
