Anuja and Ankar have been open about their relationship since the beginning. Describing their love story during the 2020 media interaction, Anuja said, “We met in New York City as co-stars on a short film. It was a tribute to 100 years of Hindi cinema and was called Siddhi. Sundar (NYU) and Raashi Desai (SVA). We spent most of the shooting schedule together, and loved every minute of getting to know each other, which is something we both so passionate about. Were young college students with aspirations to work in the entertainment industry as full-time professional actors. One kid steps in before another, followed by some huge leaps and bounds, and here we are.”

Similarly, when Ankur was promoting ‘Undekhi 2’, he shared how their real-life relationship helped him navigate through his character on the show. The actor quipped, “I’m planning to get married soon; it’s going to create a character of sorts in itself! The transformation of a fiancé into a wife is something I’m currently navigating, and That experience has been very helpful in building Daman and the booming relationship this season. Anuja (Joshi) and I are of course very different, but some of the dynamics are universal.”
