Ludhiana: Two persons tested positive for COVID-19While there was no death due to this virus on Saturday. A day earlier, nine persons had tested positive.

The Health Department said that so far 33,61,258 suspects have been tested for COVID in Ludhiana district. It said that while 2 persons from Ludhiana tested positive for Covid, no person from other areas tested positive for the disease on Saturday.
Officials of the local health department said that till Saturday, the total number of patients from Ludhiana district stood at 1,09,737, while the number of cases from outside districts/states increased to 14,727.
The Civil Surgeon said that so far 1,07,427 COVID positive patients have been cured in Ludhiana district, which is 97.89% of the total cases.
