Actor-rapper Ludacris’ longtime manager Chaka Zulu is recovering from injuries sustained in a shooting in Atlanta on Sunday, media reported. According to an incident report filed by the Atlanta Police Department on Monday (June 27), officers were notified at around 11:35 p.m. that “several persons [were] 2293 Peachtree Road,” reports Billboard. When police arrived at the scene, they found “three adult men with gunshot wounds.” One victim was taken to a local hospital after the three of them were taken Declared dead, however, the Atlanta Police Department did not release the identities of the victims.

The incident report continued, “Investigators of the murder responded to the scene to begin an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. This investigation is active and ongoing at this time.”

Atlanta news reporter Michael Seiden tweeted Monday, “Former Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed sent me the following statement on Chaka Zulu: We are privileged to report that Chaka Zulu is in stable condition and recovering. The family Thanks and prayers to everyone for their well wishes, and ask for their privacy at this time.”

Chaka Zulu has managed Ludacris for more than two decades. On 16 December 2012, Ludacris shared an Instagram post posing with Zulu with the caption, “Me and my manager of 14 years Chaka Zulu #loyalty.”
