LPG price hike: Domestic LPG cylinder price hiked by Rs 15; Revised rate effective from today

In line with the jump in international fuel prices, the price of LPG was increased by Rs 15 per cylinder on Wednesday. Oil company officials said that the prices of subsidized and non-subsidised LPG were hiked. Now in Delhi as well as in Mumbai, the price of LPG will be Rs 899.50 per cylinder.

State-run oil companies – Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation – announced that these prices would be effective from October 6.

So far in 2021, the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 205.50. Last time on September 1, the LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 25.

Along with this, the price of petrol was increased by 30 paise per liter and in diesel by 35 paise per liter. The price of petrol in Delhi is now Rs 102.94 per liter and that of diesel is Rs 91.42 per litre.

Meanwhile, the global benchmark Brent rose to $82.53 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate rose to $78.87 a barrel. Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has also increased the prices of domestic PNG with effect from October 2.
