Lost your device or it is being stolen? Google’s upcoming Apple AirTag-rival will help in discovering locations

New Delhi: Multi-national tech conglomerate Google is finally catching up with Apple and Samsung as the company prepares to launch its own location tags. Both the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro have a UWB module which has not been used as of now. This can be used to power the Nest speaker on and off, but the feature is still in development.

Google is also working with chipset manufacturers to enable Fast Pair support for Android products, allowing each manufacturer to develop its own trackers.

According to GSM Arena, a final Google Grogu announcement could traditionally be made in the form of Google I/O in May.
