Lord Jagannath along with his elder brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra will go on a city tour on Friday to give darshan to the devotees. Madhav Chandra Poojapanda, a member of the Shree Jagannath Temple Management Committee in Puri, Odisha, told that in the morning a garland each from the idols of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra was picked up from the temple and placed on their chariots.

After this the chariot was pulled towards the south and brought near the temple. About one lakh devotees took part in this tradition. Lord Jagannath will come out of the temple with elder brother and sister at 7 am on Friday. The chariot will start running at 1:30 pm.

God sets out on a 10-day journey
This journey starts from the second day of Shukla Paksha of Ashadh month. Starting from Puri temple, the chariots of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra ji and Subhadra ji reach Gundicha temple. Here Lord Jagannath ji, Balabhadra ji and Subhadra ji stay till Ashadh Shukla Dashami. After this they return to their main temple.

For the first time in Dhanbad, Rath Yatra will start from four places
The three deities were brought out from the sanctum sanctorum of the temple for eye donation to Lord Jagannath, sister Subhadra and brother Balabhadra. Where the Mangal Aarti took place. On Friday, for the first time in Dhanbad, Rath Yatra will come out from four places. The first journey will leave from Steelgate at 11 o’clock in the day, whereas, from 4 o’clock in the evening, Prabhu will leave for Nagarbhran from Dhansar.

On Thursday, on behalf of the head priest of the Jagannathpur temple in Ranchi, the eyes were donated lawfully to the three deities. Daily bhog will be offered to Lord Jagannath at 4 am on Friday. After completing this process, the Lord will once again be accessible to the general public from 5 am, which will continue till 2 pm.
