Parathas are one of the most popular breakfast recipe in North India. This dish is full of flavors and is quite filling as well. There are many types of parathas, including potato parathas, onion parathas, cauliflower parathas and paneer parathas. They are a good way to add some healthy foods to your diet. And one such healthy yet delicious option is matar paratha.

Matar Paratha Ingredients
Wheat flour – about 400 grams
Green peas – 500 grams
Oil – 2 tsp
Green chili – 2 pieces
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – as per taste
salt – as per taste
Green Coriander – 1 tsp
ginger – optional
Matar Paratha Recipe
First of all, take wheat flour and add salt and oil to it. Mix them well.
Now knead the dough with the help of lukewarm water and keep it for 15 to 20 minutes, so that it becomes soft.
Then prepare the stuffing of peas for the parantha. Peel the peas and boil for some time till the peas become soft.
Add finely chopped green chillies and ginger to peas.
Add salt, red chili powder, coriander powder and green coriander to the mixture and mash it well.
Once done, make a ball of the dough and add the prepared stuffing to it. Then roll the parantha like chapatis.
Put some ghee in the pan before adding the parathas. Make sure you cook the parathas on medium flame only.
Serve the parathas hot with tomato chutney or curd.
