Karachi: Once again a strange dish is in discussion on the internet. This time a new fusion of food has come from across the border. In a viral video, a man in Karachi (Pakistan) tries a dish where chocolate syrup is poured into biryani.
Earlier some strange recipes like Strawberry Biryani, Chocolate Maggi, Maggi ke Laddu have also gone viral on the internet. But now a special chocolate biryani video is grabbing the attention of people on social media. The dish has left internet users confused and people are shocked to see the video on social media.
The video of ‘Chocolate Biryani’ has been shared by Pakistani YouTube channel FHM Pakistan where a man tries the dish at a stall named ‘RCB’. A plate with chicken biryani is visible in the viral video, but when a man pours chocolate syrup over the biryani, it is a strange sight for the eyes. Man orders chocolate biryani from the stall. The shopkeeper serves him a plate full of biryani but also pours chocolate syrup over it.
The reporter enjoys the dish and says, “Kuch bhi nahin khaya aapne, agar yeh nahin khaya toh.”
In a minute long video, the reporter praised this strange biryani. He later said, “Where is the chef? I have to pick his hands.” At the end of the video, the reporter appeals to the people to come to the shop and try the chocolate biryani dish.
The video is going viral after being uploaded on YouTube. It has been shared not only on YouTube but also on other social media platforms. As soon as the video went viral, people were surprised about this strange combination.
Some call it an ‘insult to cultural cuisine’.
After watching the video, many people gave their opinion in the comment section. Somebody said, “Kidhe padenge you.” On the other hand, another user wrote in surprise, “Chocolate Biryani. Like seriously? Now the day is left when vanilla pulao will be made.”
Interestingly, the name of the shop being RCB also caused some jokes. Another Twitter user suggested that it would have been more fun if I tried cooking the chutney with chocolate instead of pouring it on the biryani.
