Trishakti Corps conducts Integrated Agni Shakti Exercise Kirpan Shakti at Teesta Field Firing Range.

Kirpan Division under the aegis of Trishakti Corps on Tuesday conducted an integrated fire power exercise at Testa Field Firing Range (TFFR) near Siliguri in West Bengal to showcase its capabilities, efficiency and operational preparedness for future challenges. The aim of this exercise is to organize and coordinate the capabilities of the Indian Army and Sashastra Seema Bal. Apart from the Indian Army, soldiers from 46 Bn of SSB also participated in the exercise.

The exercise demonstrated an integrated response by the Armed Forces to the concept of ‘Sensor to Shooter’ collaborative employment and firing of all weapons including Guns, Mortars, Infantry Combat Vehicles, Helicopters, Fixed Wing Assets and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Platforms. were involved.

During the execution of the integrated exercise, the Saber Division displayed its ability to strike with precision and precision. The effectiveness of the integrated firing was of exceptional order and all the objectives and objectives set for the exercise were fully achieved. Spectators witnessed the infantry’s special Haliborne operation and the simulated enemy charge, supported by cover fire and bombardment by artillery and air force assets. The brilliant execution of a unified response by the soldiers of the Indian Army and SSB on a mock en airborne attack was appreciated by all.

Upon completion of the exercise, spectators had the opportunity to take a closer look at various weapon platforms including long-range vectors such as the Pinaka and Smerch. Apart from the local people and NCC cadets, the exercise was witnessed by dignitaries from the Army, the Prime Minister as well as the local civil administration.
