Lock Up: Karanvir Bohra on his financial crisis, says ‘I am in the worst debt of my life’

Ekta Kapoor’s reality show Lock Up is all set to entertain you with its full time drama. With jaw-dropping acts, celebrity contestants have made the show even more controversial by sharing some of their deepest and darkest secrets to the world. If they do end up in the nominations, the contestants must reveal some of their unknown secrets in order to escape. In the previous episode of the captive-based reality show, Karanvir Bohra shared that he is not doing well in his career for the last 7 years. The actor revealed that he is in debt and has some cases registered against him, as he failed to return the money.

While talking to Sara Khan, Sayesha Shinde and Geeta Phogat, Karanvir opened up about going through the financial crisis. Karanvir said, ‘I am in the worst debt of my life. Means I have washed, my head like that is not even out there….”

He shared that from 2015 till now, all the work he has done is only to return the money or pay off his debt. Karanvir expressed that he felt sorry for himself and his family. “If my world was someone else, he would have committed suicide. (If there was someone else in my place, he would have committed suicide),” he said.

Karanvir mentions that if it hadn’t been for Teejay, his mother, his father and his kids, he can’t even imagine what he would have done. He called the lockup his “lifeline” as it is his chance to get rid of debt.

As per the latest update on the show, Lock Up is all set to introduce the first wild card contestant, Ali Merchant, who is Sara Khan’s ex-husband.
