Lock Up: Karan Mehra Says ‘Divorce Subjudice Matter’ After Nisha Rawal Talks About Trouble in His Marriage

Television actress Nisha Rawal recently opened up about her troubled marriage inside Kangana Ranaut’s reality show Lock Up. During a conversation with co-contestant Karanvir Bohra, Nisha alleged that her ex-husband and actor Karan Mehra was always shooting in another city and hence, she was not in touch with her son Kavish on a daily basis.

Following this, BollywoodLife.com contacted the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor for his comment. However, Karan said that he does not want Nisha to say anything on the show. He further said that their divorce was a sub-judice matter and hoped that people would understand.

During a recent episode of Lock Up, Nisha had a heartfelt conversation with Karanvir Bohra when he revealed that his son Kavish was not even 4 years old when the alleged domestic violence incident took place. When Karanvir asks what she tells her son when he asks for his father, Nisha says he rarely asks. She alleged that Karan was always shooting for a show in another city, and hence was not in touch with his son on a daily basis. “Their bond was not such that they used to talk to each other on calls every day. Whatever the moments were, they were mostly created by me. I will ask him to come sit, talk to him, put your phone aside because then you will be gone,” Nisha said. The actress had also revealed that her son has nothing negative about her and Karan’s marriage.

In June last year, Nisha filed an FIR against Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor and her husband Karan Mehra. She had accused Karan of having domestic violence and extramarital affairs, a charge denied by the actor. After this Karan was also arrested but later he was granted bail. Since then his son Kavish is living with his mother Nisha. Meanwhile, Karan Mehra often shares throwback pictures of his son on social media.
