Lock Up contestant Sara Khan has revealed that her ex-husband Ali Merchant was cheating on him with a woman who used to work at his spa. Sara also claimed that she gave Ali several opportunities to mend his ways before filing for divorce. Actor and music producer Ali Merchant recently entered the show as a wildcard entry.
Actress Sara Khan and Ali Merchant tied the knot in 2010 during Bigg Boss season 4 and filed for divorce two months later.
In the March 17 episode of Lock Up, Sara is heard telling Karanvir Bohra that she tried to give Ali several chances, but he failed her. Sara said about Ali that he keeps trying all the time and he is annoyed with it. She said, “That’s when the disrespect comes.”
Sara explained that she has always given him (Ali) the benefit of the doubt. He said that though he caught her every now and then, he always gave her chances. She told Karanvir that it took her four and a half years to move forward in life.
Sara then revealed that Ali had an affair with a former employee of her spa. Sara told that she had a spa with her partners in Lokhandwala. Her ex-husband Ali Merchant was also a part of it. Ali had appointed assistant manager there. Sara came to know about their affair and it was extreme for her, she then decided that it was.
Sara and Ali met on the sets of Bigg Boss 4 in 2010 and got married on the show after Ali proposed Sara. After two months, they separated. There was news that the couple was given Rs 50 lakh for the wedding in the Bigg Boss house, but the channel denied it.
Lock Up: Badmaash Jail Tyrant Khel premiered on 27 February on ALTBalaji and MX Player. The show is being hosted by Kangana Ranaut. In the latest episode of Lock Up, Siddharth Sharma got out of the show in the first surprise elimination.
