Amarnath Badal Phata Live Updates: Several people were washed away in flash floods triggered by a cloudburst near the holy cave shrine of Amarnath in south Kashmir, killing at least 13 people and causing mud and rocks to fall into tents and community kitchens, which fall down a hill. A team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) was already present in the affected area and two more people from adjoining Burari Marg and Panchtarni have reached there. According to the automatic weather station in the holy cave, the region received 31 mm of rain from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Heavy water entered the base camp outside the shrine, damaging 25 tents and three community kitchens where food is served to pilgrims. Temporary hospitals have been set up at Sonmarg and other places to help the injured.
