Mumbai-based singer Palash Shrivastava created a unique rendition of the Panchayat theme music infusing it with catchy lyrics.
Panchayat recently dropped its much-awaited season 3, entertaining audiences with its witty humour and authentic portrayal of village life. As fans eagerly anticipate season 4, an exciting development has added to its buzz. The show’s theme music which is already a favourite among viewers has been given a special touch by Mumbai-based singer Palash Shrivastava. So, how exactly? Palash created a unique rendition of the Panchayat theme music infusing it with catchy lyrics that breathe new life into the familiar tune.
In the video shared by Palesh on Instagram, he sings the lyrics that capture the unique traits of key characters in the series. “Iss gaon ka naam hai Phulera. Hain yahan Pradhan aur Prahlad Cha. Sachiv ji hain hamare nayak, inki aakhaon mein hai sapne.Vikas unke hain sahayak. Manju devi ki pradhan. Sachiv ji ne sikhaya pura rashtra gaan. Banrakash and aur Vinod bhi, jinke kaaran hoti nok jhok bhi. Purab hai paschim hai, sar chadha Vidhayak hai. Rinkiya tanki pe chadhi. Lauki hai nautanki hai gazab bezzati bhi,” the lyrics read.
Palesh captioned the video, “Here’s my take on Panchayat’s iconic theme with a lyrical twist.” The rendition quickly went viral online, amassing over 5 million views. It even caught the attention of streaming service platform Amazon Prime Video which commented, “listening to this on loop”.
