Actor Nicolas Cage remembered Lisa Marie Presley when the devastating news of her death made headlines. The actor, who married Elvis Presley’s daughter in 2002, released a statement reacting to her death. He said he was heartbroken to hear of her passing and found solace in believing she was reunited with her late son, Benjamin.
In a statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Cage said, “This is devastating news. Lisa was one of the most laughable people I’ve ever met. She lit up every room, and it breaks my heart. I believe She is reunited with her son, Benjamin.
For the unversed, Lisa shares Benjamin Keogh with her ex-husband, Danny Keough. Benjamin died by suicide in July 2020 at the age of 27. His last few posts on Instagram were dedicated to her. “Hello. She also had teenage twin daughters Finley Aaron Love and Harper Vivienne Anne with Michael Lockwood. Their divorce was finalized last May. Meanwhile, Cage and Lisa Marie Presley began dating in 2001 but split in early 2002. They reunited and married in August 2002. However, in November 2002, they filed for divorce.
Lisa Marie Presley was the daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. He died at the age of 54 after a cardiac arrest.
