Linde will support MS University with over Rs 3 crore for a girls’ hostel in Gujarat. Vadodara News – Times of India

Vadodara: Support has started for this MS UniversityProposed project for construction of new hostel building for girl students. Linde Engineering India Private Limited letter of intent has been given to MSU To participate in building construction.
The University is proposing to construct a Ground plus 10 floor high building at the present location of the Chief Warden Office, which is close to the existing hall of residence (Girls Complex).
This building will probably be the tallest to be built on the university campus. “Linde has given us a letter of intent to contribute to the project as part of its CSR activities. The contribution for the construction of three floors will be Rs 3.75 crore,” said MSU Vice Chancellor Professor Parimal Vyas.
The University has constituted a committee to prepare and recommend a concrete plan for the project.
“This is by far the highest contribution we will receive from a firm from its CSR funds,” he said.
The committee will also consider the feasibility of construction of additional floors in the existing Boys Hostel premises of the Hall of Residences. The allocation of CSR funds for the project will be done in a year or two after the requisite approval of Linde’s Board.
Based on a firm plan the University will submit and approval from its Board, Linde will enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the University for the proposed project.
