R Madhavan’s mother, Saroja Ranganathan debuted on Instagram by sharing her picture with her superstar son. R Madhavan is no doubt a family man. He often posts pictures and videos with his family. The actor was last seen in the film Shaitaan. It was directed by Vikas Bahl and starred Ajay Devgn and Jyotika apart from R Madhavan. The actor has been sporting a beard look for a long time but one of the memorable roles of R Madhavan was of Maddy in Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein. He was seen clean-shaven and the latest post of the actor’s mother took back the fans to the era of Maddy. The post has gone viral now.

In the latest post, Saroja Ranganathan is seen posing for a selfie with actor R Madhavan. In the photo, R Madhavan’s mother is seated on a sofa chair while he stands right behind her. Saroja Ranganathan was displeased with the white beard of the actor which he purposely donned for the films. “I like my son when he is clean-shaven. I had to take a pic today after he shaved to tell him to stop keeping his white beard all the time. Right?” wrote Saroja Ranganathan while tagging actor R Madhavan in the post. The actor has donned a white T-shirt while Saroja Ranganathan is seen wearing sunglasses. The duo has been setting mother-son goals with the post.

Reacting to the post, R Madhavan’s wife, Sarita Birje Madhavan, wrote, “Where did you hide this son for so long, Amma ?” and dropped a heart-eyed emoji. Along with her, numerous celebrities posted their reactions in the comment section. Actor Ashwin Kumar remembered the Maddy era and wrote, “Maddy Maddy oh oh Maddy.” TV actress Neha Saxena commented, “Omg this took me back in time.
