New Delhi: Pankaj Kumar Singh, 1988-batch IPS A Rajasthan cadre officer was on Wednesday appointed as the Director General of Border Security Force. Singh, son of retired IPS officer Parkash Singh, who also headed the BSF several years ago, is currently serving as the Special DG in the same force.
The force was under the additional charge of ITBP DG SS Deswal as its last full-time DG Rakesh Asthana was appointed as the Delhi Police Commissioner in late July.
