Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee On Wednesday, he compared the BJP to “vultures” and called it a “useless political organisation”, which must be defeated for the sake of the country.
He called the BJP-led NDA government “adulterated”, saying its faulty decisions such as demonetisation have broken the country’s economic backbone and increased unemployment. “The country is facing a crisis in the supply of wheat due to the mismanagement of the economy by the BJP-led government,” Banerjee alleged.
The BJP reacted sharply to Banerjee’s “vulture” remark. Its spokesperson Samik Bhattacharya said it reflects the mindset of the Trinamool Congress. “We all are well aware of TMC’s track record,” he added.
Addressing a meeting of TMC workers in Bankura district, Banerjee said, “BJP is a useless party. It is by far the most incompetent party in the country. It will be good for the country if it loses in the next Lok Sabha elections. It is like a vulture, waiting for someone to die so that he can come and eat the carcass”.
Banerjee alleged that the country was facing a crisis in the supply of wheat due to the BJP-led government’s mismanagement of the economy. “The Center is not providing us wheat. It claims that it does not have wheat for distribution. There is a shortage of wheat in the entire country… The crisis is due to the faulty economic policies of the BJP-led government at the Centre,” he said. Told.
Hitting out at the Center for demonetisation, he wondered where “all the cash went” after this. “Demonetisation was a big scam. What did we achieve through this? Even at that time I had said that withdrawing currency would be a big problem and would not help people. And now it has been proved. 102 per cent. Banerjee alleged that the Center was selling the country’s assets such as Indian Rail and insurance. “Everything is being sold. This is how they are managing the economy”. He said the TMC will hold protests in various blocks of the state on June 5 and 6 to protest against the Centre’s discrimination in the alleged payment of the state’s dues of MGNREGA funds. “Modi government has not given us money in 5 months. I am asking all the units of Trinamool Congress to take to the streets on June 5 and 6 and organize demonstrations in booths, blocks and wards. Referring to the Maoist activities in the Jangalmahal area of the state, including Bankura, during the erstwhile Left Front rule, Banerjee lauded the state administration and her party workers for restoring peace in the region. Listing out the various welfare schemes launched for the backward Bankura district, where the BJP has gained land over the years, Banerjee hoped that its people are no longer angry with the state government or the TMC as it is taking several welfare schemes. and ensured that they reach every door.
