Light rain in some parts of Delhi, maximum temperature recorded at 35.7 degree Celsius

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that parts of Delhi received light rain on Sunday and the city recorded a maximum temperature of 35.7 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average. The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal.

The Met Office said that the capital recorded 0.1 mm of rain between 9 am and 5.30 pm. The relative humidity ranged from 83 per cent to 63 per cent. The IMD has predicted cloudy sky with light rain and thundershowers in Delhi on Monday.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 36 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius. The maximum temperature on Saturday was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 26.2 degrees Celsius, both two notches below the average.
